China Sinotruk helps construction companies go global
The 9th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Summit Forum hosted by the China International Contractors Association and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute in Macao from 7th to 8th June, 2018. The theme of the summit forum is "Cultivating new energy, promoting infrastructure construction and interconnection". More than 1,800 people from more than 35 ministerial guests, more than 110 ENR250 international contractors and 79 top 500 companies from 66 countries and regions attended the forum. The chief executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region Shian Chui, Vice Minister of Commerce Yan Gao, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region Xiaosong Zheng, Equatorial Guinean Prime Minister Obama and the politicians of different countries and the directors of international financial institutions opened the forum.
As a co-organizer, China Sinotruk mainly served contracting engineering enterprises with their own equipment for abroad construction based on the theme of Serving Construction Enterprises Going Global and participated in a series of activities of the forum. During the forum, China Sinotruk and China Railway International Group Co., Ltd. held a business talk and reached a number of cooperation intentions. And China Sinotruk also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Nonferrous Metals Construction Co., Ltd.
At the welcome luncheon hosted by China Sinotruk, the executive director and vice president of China Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., Peimin Liu delivered a speech on behalf of China Sinotruk. Nearly 50 guests from almost 30 construction companies such as China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, China Civil Engineering, etc. joined the luncheon.
Peimin Liu said in his speech that China Sinotruk has always adhered to the internationalization strategy, from international markets to one-stop services such as overseas design, global procurement, capacity transfer, product sales, technical training, after-sales service, spare parts supply, etc., truly providing customized, integrated transportation solutions for overseas users. In 2017, China Sinotruk has exported more than 36,000 heavy trucks, and the export value is over 10 billion, a market share reaching 50%.
